Our house is just an average house: Nothing too fancy or too modest. It suits our needs fairly well and has been our home for the past 12 years. Of course we’ve done a few modifications here and there but we haven’t done anything major since it was first built in ‘98. This is where we have raised our children and where we plan to grow old someday.

Back then, I was still a low level employee in the company and managed to buy this house through a lot of loans and help from our family. But now that I’ve been promoted and is significantly high in the chain of command in the office now, my wife and I thought that maybe it is about time that we do some house renovating even if it is one step at a time. So the first thing we plan to do is change the countertops in our house. It was actually more her idea than mine since she saw some granite countertops Dallas TX online. But I have to admit, these things do look nice so I agreed to have them put in as well. After this, we plan to change other stuff in the house as well. The kids will surely love it.
